Tiffany Ruiz joined Capitol Advocacy in 2015 as a Legislative Assistant supporting Margaret Gladstein and Ivan Altamura. Along with maintaining their calendars, coordinating meetings and travel arrangements, Tiffany is detail oriented and enjoys developing relationships with the firm’s clients. Tiffany also organizes legislative days for clients and assists with marketing and fundraising functions.
Prior to joining Capitol Advocacy, she served in the United States Air Force, 20th Operational Weather Squadron, stationed at Yokota AFB, Japan. While stationed in Japan, she was a weather forecaster, working closely with combat weather personnel. After fulfilling her enlistment in the USAF she moved back to the United States, relocating to California.
For six years, she worked for several members of the California State Assembly as an executive assistant and scheduler. In this capacity, she coordinated district travel, filed appropriate FPPC reports, maintained relationships with constituents and various interest groups, and learned the legislative process.
Tiffany has a degree in Interior Design and resides in Sacramento with her husband Ramon and their 3 children; Ramon, Abigail, and Emiliano. She is an avid runner and loves the outdoors.
