Jennifer Hendrick Snyder

With more than 20 years of experience in policy development, community relations and healthcare issues, Jennifer Hendrick Snyder, a partner at Capitol Advocacy, assists clients with strategic, analytical and advocacy services.

A former vice president of behavioral health and governance at the California Healthcare Association and former director of government affairs for the California Alliance of Child and Family Services, Jennifer worked directly with hospitals agencies to advocate on issues related to health and human services for women and children.

Jennifer was legislative director for the California Association of Health Facilities where she led the organization’s grassroots program and tracked health and human service related bills. Prior to that, she also coordinated lobbying activities related to long-term care and social services for the California Association for Health Services at Home.

Jennifer also worked as a legislative aide to a State Senator, where she specialized in developing and managing legislation related to education and health issues.

Jennifer has a degree in political science from California State University, Chico and a Masters in Health Administration from the University of San Francisco. She lives in Folsom with her husband, Brian and son, Colton.
