OUR TEAM: JEFF MILLER
Jeff Miller, a partner at Capitol Advocacy, is a nationally recognized expert on legislative, procurement and regulatory strategies. With a keen sense of politics and strong relationships with elected leaders and regulators, Jeff consults for clients on a wide range of issues at the state and local level around the country.
In the last four years, Jeff has served in a volunteer capacity as Finance Chair for the California Republican Party, Co-Finance Chair for the Republican Governors Association and Political Advisor to former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Prior to joining Capitol Advocacy, Jeff was senior vice president of government and industry affairs for one of the nation's largest financial services companies. Responsible for assembling and leading a nationwide team of corporate and contract lobbyists, Jeff oversaw company strategy on issues such as licensing, lending, tort reform, and other related issues. He also helped manage the company's public profile and crisis communication planning.
In addition, Jeff served a 2-year stint as chief financial officer of the California Republican Party, where he revamped the party's fundraising operation, raising more than $60 million in just two election cycles. And he worked as an aide to a powerful California Congressman, as a consultant in the State Assembly and finance director for numerous California Senate and Assembly Republican leaders.
Jeff was in the U.S. Naval Reserves from 1992 to 1998 in SBU XI, a river warfare unit. He and his wife Stephanie reside in Sacramento with their two daughters, Kylie and Ava.
