OUR TEAM: HUBERT RILEY
Hubert Riley runs a successful consulting practice in Sacramento, California where he provides expert strategic advice and consultation to clients across the country in public affairs, public sector marketing and business development. . He offers a well-developed background in public affairs and government relations having led a number of successful national, state and local political campaigns. His extensive network of contacts within the federal government and in all 50 states is very beneficial to his many clients.
Prior to starting his own consulting firm, Hubert was a founding partner with Capitol Advocacy, and still acts in an “Of Counsel” role with the firm.
Before joining Capitol Advocacy, Hubert was a partner in Cartwright & Riley, a Washington, DC based public affairs firm that served a variety of clients at the state and federal level.
Previously, Hubert served as deputy executive director of the Democratic Governors Association where he led their national fundraising and political efforts.
Hubert has a degree in political science from the University of South Carolina and a Masters in Comparative Government from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He lives in Sacramento with his wife Lisa and their four children, Anna, Caroline, Will and Stella.
